The TransLoc database interface is a web service providing access to a database that contains information on hundreds of populations of species that have been intentionally translocated to the Western Palearctic for the purpose of obtaining wild and viable populations.

PERSONAL DATA

Your Data may be collected:
  • When creating an account, via the account creation form allowing access to consultation, insertion or modification of data contained in the database. They are intended for internal use only;
  • Through contributions, via reports, publications, dissertations, theses, etc. indicating the names of those responsible for the translocation efforts and those responsible for the studies.

The National Museum of Natural History, via the UAR BBEES, collects the information strictly necessary for the provision of its services. This information is marked with an asterisk and generally concerns your last name, first name, email address, hierarchical structure, publications.

The personal data collected on the site are recorded and used by the UAR BBEES, for the purposes of dissemination and management of access to the Transloc database interface.

The personal contact details of users of the Transloc site services are not made visible and are not transmitted under any circumstances. When certain information is mandatory to access specific features of the site, this mandatory nature is indicated at the time of data entry collection. If you refuse to provide mandatory information, you may not have access to certain services.

No transfer of personal data outside the European Union is carried out. Personal data will only be exposed outside the European Union when the project partners have website administrator rights, which is not the case in the project.

In accordance with the applicable legal and regulatory provisions, in particular Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978 as amended relating to data processing, files and freedoms and European Regulation No. 2016/679/EU of April 27, 2016 (applicable since May 25, 2018), you have the following rights:

  • Request updating of your data, if it is inaccurate;
  • Request portability or deletion of your data;
  • Request deletion of your account;
  • Request limitation of the processing of your data;

Intellectual property

The content, text, including videos, brands, logos and images that appear or are available on the site, are protected by intellectual property law.
